Gustav Freiherr von Liebenstein

Dipl.Ing. Gustav Adolph Ludwig Wilhelm Freiherr von Liebenstein was a highly decorated Kapitn zur See of the Reserves in the Kriegsmarine during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
